Cattle (Bovines)
We have appraised some of North America's most recognized Holstein, Angus, and Jersey cattle, as well as multi-million-dollar dairy and beef operations. Our experience ranges from individual breeding and show animals to large commercial herds and purebred seedstock operations. Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, serves as a Dairy Production and Cow/Calf Production Tester for the Government of Alberta's Green Certificate Program and is a livestock appraiser for the U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS). She is also a member of the American Angus Association, Canadian Angus Association, and Holstein Canada, allowing her to remain actively involved with leading breed organizations and current industry trends. Our appraisal experience includes, but is not limited to, the following breeds: Ancient White Park, Angus, Belted Galloway, Brown Swiss, Charolais, English Longhorn, Galloway, Guernsey, Hereford, Highland, Holstein, Jersey, Kerry, Limousin, Red Devon, Shorthorn, Simmental, and Texas Longhorn.
Companion Animals
We have extensive experience appraising breeding and show dogs, breeding and show cats, and a wide variety of companion animals, including—but not limited to—exotic birds and parrots, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other specialty companion species. Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, has a long history of owning purebred dogs and regularly participates in agility and obedience trials. She has also been an active member of The International Cat Association (TICA) for nearly two decades. She previously managed TICA's website, served as Chair of the Kurilian Bobtail Breed Committee, and has earned multiple International and Regional awards exhibiting a variety of breeds throughout North America, including Maine Coons, Cornish Rex, Selkirk Rex, Ragdolls, and the rare Kurilian Bobtail from Russia's Kuril Islands.
Endangered, Threatened & Vulnerable Animals
We have extensive experience providing appraisal and consulting services for endangered, threatened, and vulnerable species throughout the world. Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, serves as a U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) livestock appraiser for endangered animals, providing specialized valuation expertise involving protected and at-risk species. We have been retained by private zoos, aquariums, wildlife sanctuaries, conservation organizations, and non-profit foundations to appraise a wide range of terrestrial and marine species. Our experience includes, but is not limited to, African and Asian elephants, beluga whales, bottlenose dolphins, penguins, sea lions, tigers, Swift foxes, and numerous other endangered and vulnerable species. We also have extensive experience valuing rare and threatened equine breeds, including the Akhal-Teke, Cleveland Bay, Dales Pony, Dartmoor Pony, Exmoor Pony, and Fell Pony.
Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, serves as a U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) livestock appraiser for bison, buffalo, beefalo, deer, elk, caribou, reindeer, emus, and zoo animals. We have extensive experience appraising game, exotic, and zoological animals, and our appraisal expertise includes both privately owned and institutionally managed animals, ranging from individual breeding stock to large zoological and game animal collections.
Goats (Caprines)
Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, serves as a U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) livestock appraiser for goats, reflecting her specialized expertise in valuing both commercial and purebred caprine livestock. We have extensive experience appraising breeding, show, dairy, and meat goats, including, but not limited to, Angora, Boer, Fainting, Kinder, LaMancha, Nigerian Dwarf, Nigora, Nubian, and Pygmy goats.
Horses (Equines)
We have conducted equine appraisals throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe, valuing everything from family trail horses to Olympic-caliber sport horses. We regularly provide independent appraisals, litigation consulting, and expert witness services, and have qualified as equine experts in courts in both Canada and the United States. Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, is a Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) Steward, a Senior Judge and Senior Steward with Equestrian Canada, an 'R' Judge and Steward with US Equestrian, serves on numerous equestrian committees in Canada and the United States, and taught in the University of Guelph's Equine Studies Diploma and Equine Business Management Certificate programs for nearly a decade.

Llamas & Alpacas
Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, has owned llamas for more than 35 years and bred, trained, and exhibited llamas for over 25 years. She is a member of the International Lama Registry and the Alpaca Owners Association, and has trained, conditioned, and shown both llamas and alpacas for clients at many of Western Canada's and the United States' premier shows, including the prestigious Parkland Breeders' Sweepstakes. Tracy also serves as a U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) livestock appraiser for alpacas and llamas. We have extensive experience appraising Huacaya and Suri alpacas, as well as Argentine, Bolivian, Chilean, Peruvian, and Suri llamas.
Marine & Aquarium Animals
Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, serves as a U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) livestock appraiser for marine animals. We have extensive experience appraising dolphins, sharks, penguins, sea lions, seals, and other aquatic species, as well as high-value saltwater and freshwater aquariums, aquatic livestock, coral farms, and koi ponds. We also provide appraisals of aquarium infrastructure and specialized equipment, including custom tanks, life support systems, pumps, chillers, filtration systems, and other aquatic assets.
Pigs (Porcines)
Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, serves as a Swine Production Tester for the Government of Alberta's Green Certificate Program and as a U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) livestock appraiser for swine. We have extensive experience appraising commercial swine operations, multi-million-dollar production facilities, breeding stock, and individual animals. Our appraisal experience includes Berkshire, Duroc, Gloucester, Hampshire, Landrace, Miniature, Spotted, Vietnamese Potbelly, and Yorkshire pigs.
Poultry, Gamebirds, Exotic Chickens & Waterfowl
Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, is a member of the American Poultry Association and the North American Gamebird Association, and serves as a U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) livestock appraiser for poultry, waterfowl, and gamebirds. We have extensive experience appraising commercial poultry operations, large-scale pheasant farms, breeding programs, and individual birds, including chickens, turkeys, pheasants, partridges, peafowl, ducks, swans, and other domestic and exotic avian species. To date, our American clients have been awarded more than $30 million in USDA indemnity appeals. In recognition of her expertise, Tracy was invited to speak on USDA indemnity appeals at the North American Gamebird Association's annual convention in Orlando, Florida.
Service Animals
We have experience appraising a wide range of service and support animals, including psychiatric service dogs (PSDs), medical alert and response animals, mobility assistance animals, and emotional support animals (ESAs).
Sheep (Ovines)
Our senior appraiser, Tracy Dopko, serves as a Sheep Production Tester for the Government of Alberta's Green Certificate Program and as a U.S. Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) livestock appraiser for sheep. We have extensive experience appraising commercial sheep operations, breeding flocks, and individual animals, including Dorper, Dorset, Gotland, Hampshire, Jacob, Leicester, Lincoln, Merino, Oxford, Shetland, and Suffolk sheep.
Working Canines
We have experience appraising a wide range of working canines, including police K9s, narcotics detection dogs, cadaver detection dogs, guard dogs, water rescue dogs, herding dogs, and search and rescue (SAR) dogs.
